 Eight years ago I went on Red Bull Music Academy in NYC and finally learned something about music production. After few months of production I had some tracks which I included on this free CD release. It was easy for me to sit and work on my first music project, inspiration was there and I had some decent computer at home. It was a techy CD, not to much deep, it's more like a techy, electronic house, not bad at all for the first time. If you're interested, you can download zipped folder. I will alos inlcude separate tracks download option, soon.

 I finally uploaded and posted my first DJ mix in DJ MIXES section. Need 4 Speed is pumping-funky-disco-house music compilation mixed for 74mins promo CD-R. This was recorded at the end of 1999 and it's not exactly my "first" DJ Mix, I had many more before but they're lost somewhere on some old tapes, I'm sure I'll never find them. Anyway, these days web hosting is very cheap so why not to have all my mixes on my website right?

I promised myself that I'll publish my older DJ mixes on my new website. Couple of years ago I mixed 4 very very long mixes, 8hr and more each. They are thematic, each represents 4 different music groups with similar genres or sounds: Break 2 Chill, Deep Electro Anthems, Jazz Funk Latin Vibes & Soulful Vocals. I started with my first long mix Break 2 Chill. It's heavy, you'll have to dowanlod 567 MB file, and it's long: 8 hours and 15 min. The other three will come soon, but first I need to finish track listing for this one. What is this all about? I mixed best tracks from my personal collection (folders) into 4 long mixes. My goal was to mix some kind of demo-mix, to present some nice music to "beginers" and it was not important for me to be technically perfect, this is more like a 2-3 min preview of each track. It's good for relaxing, for work, studying, and of course, hanging with friends.

 Welcome to my new website.
My first website was launched almost 10 years ago. It was a simple flash web site which brought me many visitors only after few months. I was getting bunch of emails every day with positive reviews and I decided to continue with my personal deep house 'mission' and website, people were asking for more music & more DJ mixes. In the meantime, I learned more about web design, and I launched my 2nd website. That one was easy challenge since I already enjoyed working on it anyway. Having nice website in that moment probably helped me to get into Red Bull Music Academy, set for 2001 in New York City (at the same time 9/11 happened). I lived in Novi Sad until my wife and I decided to move to New York City to fulfill our dreams.
I hope this new site will be more interactive, and I will try to post more news related to DJ-ing, producing and interesting topics. I'll also preparing some tutorials for mixing, maybe even video for rookies... The best way to stay informed is registration. First, let's put some old mixes for download. See you soon! |
